Its a cake which comes out with a Magic. Why its called Magic Cake the reason behind it is- This cake has three different layers from one single batter. Top layer Sponge, middle Layer Creamy Custard and the bottom layer is Milky fudge. The Main Hero is Milk which makes all the magic. Do try this yummylicious recipe. The Magic Cake

Ingredients to make The Magic Cake

  • 90 grams All purpose flour / Maida
  • 90 grams Fine sugar
  • 90 grams Melted butter
  • 375 millilitre Milk
  • 3 Egg yolks
  • 3 Egg whites
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • Salt a pinch
  • Little icing sugar for dusting on top of ghe cake

How to make The Magic Cake

  1. First grease the cake tin and line with parchment paper and keep aside.
  2. In a big bowl take 3 egg yolks, add water and mix.
  3. Now add sugar and mix well.
  4. Add melted butter little by little and mix.
  5. Add flour to it.
  6. Add pinch of salt and mix.
  7. Add vanila essence and mix.
  8. Now add milk and mix well.
  9. Keep aside the ready batter and preheat the oven at 150 degree centigrade for 10 minutes.
  10. In a separate bowl take egg whites.
  11. Beat using electric beater till stiff peaks form.
  12. Now add meringue (egg whites) into the ready milk better 1/3 at a time.
  13. Fold gently.
  14. Pour the ready batter in greased cake tin.
  15. Bake it at 150 degree for 60-70 minutes or till top of the cake gets golden brown.
  16. Let it cool down completely.
  17. Demold the cake, sprinkle icing sugar. Serve chilled.
My Tip: Please be careful in folding meringue. Fold it with a very light hand, so that the foam remains in the batter.
