STRAWBERRY Cake

Ingredients to make STRAWBERRY Cake

  • 1.5 cup All purpose flour / Maida
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp soda
  • 3/4 cup fine Sugar
  • 2 tblson strawberry crush
  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon starwberry essence
  • Salt a pinch

How to make STRAWBERRY Cake

  1. Grease a cake tin n preheat the oven at 180 degree for 10 mins.
  2. Sieve maida, baking powder, soda and salt 3 times n keep aside.
  3. In a bowl add butter and sugar whisk till light n creamy.
  4. Add essence n strawberry crush. Mix well.
  5. Add maida mixture little by little and gradually add milk n make smooth batter.
  6. Pour ready better in greased tin n bake at 180 for 30 to 35 mins.
  7. Check with a toothpick if comes out clean ur cake is ready.
  8. Cool it down completely on wire rack.
  9. You can serve this cake as it is or can do icing too.

My Tip:

Please be careful in folding meringue. Fold it with a very light hand, so that the foam remains in the batter.
