Kurkuri bhindi Ki kalonji

Ingredients to make Kurkuri bhindi Ki kalonji

  • Bhindi 250 gms
  • Garlic paste 1tsp and minced 4-5pcs
  • Salt to taste
  • Saboot methi 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 2 tsp
  • Kashmiri mirch powder 1 tsp
  • Hing one pinch
  • Green chillies 4 pcs
  • oil ( I used Mustard oil)
  • Sesame 1 tsp

How to make Kurkuri bhindi Ki kalonji

  1. Rinse, dry and trim both the ends of the Bhindi.
  2. Cutting halves from both the sides.
  3. Heat oil in a pan or kadahi add Methi, hing and green chillies.
  4. Now put the Bhindi's in pan and cook in a low flame.
  5. Add crushed garlic and stir for a sec. Now add turmeric, Kashmiri mirch powder.
  6. After 5mins add salt and garlic paste. When Bhindi is half cooked turn the flame on high for crispness and stir.
  7. At the end Sprinkle white sesamea.
  8. Serve hot with the chapatis.
My Tip: Don't cover the lid while cooking Bhindi.
