Plain Dosa with Chutney

Ingredients to make Plain Dosa with Chutney

  • White urad dal 1 cup
  • Rice flour 2 cup
  • tomato 2
  • onion 1 big size
  • salt as needed
  • All spices 1-1 teaspoon to prepare tomato onion chutney

How to make Plain Dosa with Chutney

  1. First prepare battter: For this soak urad dal for 1 hour. Add rice flour in it.
  2. Add salt. Add a pinch of yeast or add baking soda in that batter and keep it overnight for fermentation if you are going to prepare for lunch or breakfast.
  3. Now take dosa pan. Heat it. Pour and spread the batter. Put some oil around it and after some time do up side down. Dosa is prepared.
  4. Prepare onion tomato chutney. Chopped garlic, onion, tomato, green chillies, little bit ginger.(peanut powder ). if you want peanut chutney.
  5. Put 1 tablespoon oil, add cumin, mustard seeds, red chili powder, green chillies, ginger garlic paste and add chopped onions and tomato. Fry for 5 minutes .

My Tip:

You can also blend the chutney in blender.
