Ingredients to make Bread Burfi

  • 2 cups soft bread crumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 grated coconut
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 teaspoon ghee
  • some cashews

How to make Bread Burfi

  1. Soak bread crumbs in milk for about 10mintues.
  2. Combine coconut and sugar, stir over a low fire till the sugar melts.
  3. Add the soaked bread crumbs and stir till well mixed (for about 5-7mintues)
  4. Add ghee and continue stirring till the mixture leaves the sides of the kadai.
  5. Turn to mixture into a greased tray and spread it evenly.
  6. Allow it to cool and then cut into desired shapes.
  7. Garnish with grind cashews.
