Ingredients to make Magaj makhana kheer

  • 3 cups Whole Milk
  • 2 tb milk Powder
  • 1/2 tbs kesar
  • 1/4 cup magaj( watermelon seeds)
  • 1 cup makhana( lotus seeds)
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • Elachi powder
  • Pista or any other chopped dry fruits fir garnishing

How to make Magaj makhana kheer

  1. In pan dry roast makhana and magaj don't Over roast otherwise colour will be changed
  2. Now crush roasted magaj and makhana in plastic bag
  3. In deep pan take milk add milk Powder and mix well
  4. Now boil milk on low flame and strain continually
  5. Add crushed Makhana n magaj in boiling milk and mix well
  6. Add kesar ,elachi powder
  7. Add sugar and cook for two minutes on low flame
  8. Off the gas
  9. Garnish ready Makhana magaj kheer with chopped dry fruits or with cairmilize Makhana
  10. Serve cool or on roomteampture
  11. Enjoy
