Milky Palao

Ingredients to make Milky Palao

  • Basmati Rice- 1 Cup ( washed and clean)
  • Water- 1 cup
  • Milk -1 1/2 cup ( hot )
  • Ghee- 3 Tbsp
  • Pepper- 10 nos
  • Cardamom- 6 nos
  • Clove- 6 nos
  • Black Cardamom- 1 nos
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar- 2 tsp
  • Cherry and Pudina ( mint )leaf for decoration

How to make Milky Palao

  1. Heat the water in a vessel add rice and salt in it and boil for 2 mins. Add hot milk and cook for 10 more mins. When the rice is 80% done remove the cover add sugar and stir it.
  2. Heat another pan, add ghee then add one by one all the spices stir it for 1 min then immediately add this into the rice and mix properly.
  3. Then take the vessel off the fire. Cover it for at least 10 minutes. After that garnish with cherry and pudina pata ( mint leaf )
