ABOUT Flavoured Broken Wheat Pudding RECIPE

I have tried to amalgamate different flavours in broken wheat and layered it in an interesting way with topping of dry fruits. Blending of broken wheat with different flavours tastes heavenly. Its a yummy and healthy recipe. Its different flavours definitely satisfy our body and soul.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Washed Broken wheat 1 cup
  2. Milk 4 cups
  3. Cardamom powder 1/3 teaspoon
  4. Sugar 2 tablespoon
  5. Mango puree 2 tablespoon
  6. Jamun chopped 2 tablespoon
  7. Chocolate sauce 2 tablespoon
  8. For garnishing :
  9. Mix chopped dry fruits 2 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. First take a wok and add broken wheat with 2 cups of milk to boil.
  2. When it starts to boil simmer the flame and stir occasionally.
  3. When mixture starts to thicken add remaining milk. Keep stirring. Let it cook till it becomes thick in consistency.
  4. As soon as broken wheat softens completely add cardamom powder and sugar. Mix nicely and switch off the flame.
  5. Now divide it into 3 parts and let it cool completely.
  6. After cooling , add chocolate sauce and one part of cool down broken wheat mixture in a jar and blend till mixture smoothens.keep aside.
  7. Now add chopped jamun and another part of broken wheat mixture in the jar and blend till it smoothens. Keep it aside.
  8. For making top layer add mango puree with remaining part of broken wheat mixture and blend nicely. Keep it aside.
  9. Now take serving glass pour chocolate layer at the bottom , then pour jamun layer in middle very slowly and mango layer on top of the glass .
  10. Pour different flavours slowly with the help of spoon so that all layers can be visible.
  11. Garnish ready layered pudding with dry fruits.
  12. Serve as it is or chill for some time.
