Thandai kheer

Ingredients to make Thandai kheer

  • Thandai masala:-
  • 2 tbsp fennel seeds
  • 5- 8 black pepper
  • 5 cardamom
  • 15 cashews
  • 15 almond
  • 10 pistachio
  • 1 cup milk
  • For kheer :-
  • 1.5 litre full cream milk
  • 1 and 1/2 cup sugar
  • Few saffron strands
  • 4 tbsp soaked rice
  • For garnish:-
  • Few chopped almond,pistachio
  • Some rose petals

How to make Thandai kheer

  1. On medium flame, in a pan boil thandai masala ingredients in 1 cup milk .
  2. Boil it for 5 minutes.
  3. After boil cool it and make fine paste in grinder.
  4. On medium flame,in a wok add thandai masala paste, milk.
  5. Mix it very well and stir it.
  6. Now add few kesar strands.
  7. Add soaked rice .
  8. Cook it for 20-30 minutes on medium flame and stir it in every5 minutes interval.
  9. After completely cook the consistency becomes little thick.
  10. At serving time serve it in a bowl and garnish it with some chopped almonds,pistachio, rose petals.
