ABOUT Mango Rasmalai RECIPE

Mango rasmalai is a sweet dish made with mango and milk. It is a traditional Indian dessert which you can make only in summers. Only who love mangoes should try once.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Milk 1/2 litre
  2. Mango puree 1/2 cup
  3. Milk powder 1/2 cup
  4. Flour 1 teaspoon
  5. Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Oil 1 teaspoon
  8. Sugar /sugarfree powder according to taste
  9. Almonds
  10. Saffron

Instructions

  1. Boli milk in a thick bottomed pan in a low flame add cardamom powder.
  2. Take flour, baking powder, milk powder, oil, mango puree (less quantity) in a bowl and knead into a soft dough.
  3. Make balls and press them slightly.
  4. Put those balls in the boiling milk. Flame low - high. After 5-7mins switch off the flame.
  5. Then add sugar / sugarfree powder, mango puree and stir slowly.
  6. Now garnish it with almonds and saffron.
