ABOUT Sago Vegetables Rabri RECIPE

Today I have given twist to vegetables. My innovation is healthy and sweet version of vegetables. I have tried to make healthy dessert with the use of vegetables. Kids will definitely love this version.Today's dish is fusion of vegetables and sago rabri.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Milk 1 litre
  2. Parboiled peas and corn kernels 1/2 cup
  3. Small pieces of parboiled carrots and beans 1/2 cup
  4. Overnight soaked sago 1/2 cup
  5. Sugar according to taste
  6. Cardamon powder 1/3 teaspoon
  7. Mashed cottage cheese 1 tablespoon
  8. Kesar 7-8 strands
  9. For garnishing:
  10. Tutti frooti 2 tablespoon
  11. Mint leaves 4
  12. Corn kernel 1 piece

Instructions

  1. First take a pan and add milk to boil.
  2. When milk boils simmer the flame and add kesar strands.
  3. Now add soaked sago, crushed cottage cheese.
  4. Keep boiling on slow flame till milk thickens and sago becomes transparent.
  5. Now add parboiled vegetables with sugar in sago rabri.
  6. Simmer for 5 minutes and add cardamom powder.
  7. Switch off the flame. Let rabri cool down.
  8. Now pour vegetable sago rabri in serving bowl and garnish with tutti frooti, mint leaves and corn kernel.
  9. Refrigerate for 2 hours and serve chilled.
