Ingredients to make Creamy Milky Cauliflower

  • cauliflower 2
  • Milk 1/2 litre
  • Mava 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cream 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper 4 to 6
  • cinnamon 1 stick
  • mace 1/2 small piece
  • Green cardamom 4
  • Green cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  • fennel powder 1 tablespoon
  • ginger powder 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped onion 2 tablespoon
  • Green chili 2
  • Red Chili Powder 1 teaspoon
  • ghee 2 tablespoon
  • turmeric powder 12 teaspoon
  • coriander leaves for garnishing

How to make Creamy Milky Cauliflower

  1. Cut the cauliflower into bite sized florets. Keep a bowl of water and add a spoon of salt to it. Keep tossing in the florets into the salt water as you cut. This will help to get the insects out of the cauliflower.
  2. Boil the milk with turmeric powder, salt, black paper, cinnamon, mace, cardamom, green chili and cauliflower pieces for 5 minutes.
  3. Heat the ghee in a pan and fry the cauliflower and keep them out on a kitchen paper.
  4. Saute the onion in the remaining ghee, now add renaming milk, mava, fennel powder, ginger powder, red chili powder then add the pieces of cauliflower, cook it for 2-3 minutes more and turn off the flame.
  5. Add cream mix well, garnish with coriander, serve with paratha.
