Ingredients to make Ghiya kheer/ Bottle guard pudding

  • Bottle guard 1/2 kg
  • Sugar 2 tbsp or as per taste
  • Milk boiled 1 litter
  • Chopped almonds 1 tbsp
  • Chopped cashew nut 1 tbs
  • Pitachio chopped 1 tbsp
  • Green cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • Mava 1 tbsp grated
  • Desi ghee 2 tsp

How to make Ghiya kheer/ Bottle guard pudding

  1. Wash and grate the bottle guard. Cook the milk in a heavy bottom pan with cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits.
  2. Heat the ghee in another pan and fry bottle guard till golden. Then add one cup water, cover and cook the bottle guard till it done.
  3. Now mix the bottle guard with milk, cook it for 10 minutes on medium hot heat, turn off the flame. Cool and serve.
