Orange And Jaggery Pannacotta

Ingredients to make Orange And Jaggery Pannacotta

  • Whole full fat milk - 2 cup
  • Jaggery - 1/2 cup
  • Gelatine​ - 2 teaspoon heaped
  • Cardamom powder - pinch of
  • For orange sauce -
  • Orange juice - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 4 teaspoon
  • Orange pulp - 1/2 cup
  • Cherries and orange juliennes for garnish

How to make Orange And Jaggery Pannacotta

  1. Take 2 teaspoon water in a bowl. Sprinkle gelatin on the top of the bowl and leave it for 5 minutes.
  2. Take milk and jaggery in a sauce pan, put cardamom powder in it. Heat on a slow flame.
  3. Once the jaggery has dissolved and milk is hot add gelatin stir for about 5 minutes.
  4. Leave to cool for a while.
  5. Strain and​ pour into molds.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  7. Meanwhile you can make orange sauce.
  8. In a pan add orange and sugar together and cook until sauce become dark.
  9. After it reaches the consistency of perfect sauce add orange pulp. Your sauce is ready.
  10. After 2 hours demold the pannacotta, place on the serving plate, pour orange sauce on the pannacotta. Garnish with orange juliennes.
