Chocolate Sponge Cake

Ingredients to make Chocolate Sponge Cake

  • All purpose Maida 3 cup
  • Eggs 2
  • Baking powder 2 teaspoon
  • Cocoa powder 2 tablespoon
  • Icing sugar 1 cup
  • Refined Oil 1/2 Cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
  • Raisins and cashew as per cravings
  • Water 1 to 2 cup

How to make Chocolate Sponge Cake

  1. Add egg and oil together and whisk quickly.
  2. Add Maida (u can add cornflour)
  3. And with continuous blending
  4. Add sugar and cocoa powder
  5. Add baking powder and vanilla essence.
  6. Use a 5 liter pressure cooker and remove the whistle
  7. Add a little water
  8. Pour the cake mix in the mould.
  9. Place the steel mould wait for 20 to 30 mins
  10. Check in between with a cake tester
  11. When the cake is ready cool it
  12. Serve.
My Tip: U can use bournville dark chocolate
