ABOUT Mango Phirni RECIPE

The recipe is next door phirni made with a twist. Flavored with ripe mangoes and served chilled to sooth the taste buds in scorching heat.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 cups Milk
  2. 2 tablespoon Rice ( Ground)
  3. 1/2 cup Mango puree
  4. Sugar to taste
  5. Cardamom powder a pinch
  6. Slivered pistachios and almonds

Instructions

  1. Grind a mango to make puree.
  2. Boil milk in a deep vessel and keep stirring occasionally.
  3. Once the milk thickens add mango puree and stir well. Cook for a while till you get a good aroma out of it.
  4. Add cardamom powder.
  5. Add sugar as per your preference and stir and cook for a while.
  6. Serve chilled garnished with slivers of pistachio and almonds.
