Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Alphonso mangoes 6 ( can use kesar as well)
  2. Sugar (taste and add, if mangoes are sweet 1 to 2 tablespoon is more than enough)
  3. 1 lemon juiced

Instructions

  1. Chop the mangoes.
  2. You can even grind them but i like chunks in my jam.
  3. Take the chopped mangoes in a pan.
  4. Add sugar. I used 2 tablespoon here.
  5. Add the lemon juice.
  6. Let the jam cook till it thickens.
  7. Let it cool.
  8. Store in glass bottles (sterilize them).
  9. Stays well for 6 to 7 months.
  10. Can be used as spread on your bread.
  11. I use it in making Aamarakhand, vanilla icecream topped with manjo jam. Mango cheese cake or mango jam with hot roti/ paratha is also an option.
