Ingredients to make Bread Rolls

  • Bread slices 4 pieces
  • Boiled potatoes 2
  • Peanuts
  • Carrot chopped
  • Onion chopped
  • Capsicum chopped
  • Green chillies
  • Ginger grated
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder
  • Coriander powder
  • Cumin powder
  • Oil to fry
  • Chopped coriander leaves

How to make Bread Rolls

  1. Boil the potatoes.
  2. When they are still warm, peel and mash them.
  3. Heat the kadahi put 2 tablespoon oil add onions and saute them. When it turns to pinkish add ginger, carrot, capsicum, green chillies and saute well.
  4. Now put salt, black pepper, coriander powder, cumin powder and fry them in medium to high flame.
  5. Lastly add fried peanuts and mix well.
  6. Take a slice of bread and dampen it with water.
  7. Squeeze the water from the bread.
  8. Place the filling in the center.
  9. Roll the bread and close the edges.
  10. Make all bread rolls this way.
  11. Heat the oil in the kadahi for deep frying the bread rolls.
  12. Now dip the bread rolls in oil.
  13. Fry the bread rolls till they become crisp and golden in colour.
  14. Drain them in a kitchen tissue or any paper.
  15. Serve hot with the tomato ketchup and onion salad.

My Tip:

If making for children then skip the green chilies. Drain well and use tissue / paper to remove excess oil.
