Ingredients to make Date roll/salaami

  • Pitted dates 2 cup
  • Almond chopped 1/4 cup
  • Cashew 1/4 cup
  • Pistachios 1/4 cup
  • Walnut 1/4 cup
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Green cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • Desi ghee 2 tbsp

How to make Date roll/salaami

  1. Blend pitted dates in mixie
  2. Put 1 tbsp desi ghee in pan and saute chopped dry fruits for 3-4 minutes
  3. Now in another pan add rest ghee and saute poppy seeds
  4. After light roasting add dates and sauted dry fruits mix them
  5. Add cardamom powder
  6. Switch off flame
  7. Let it cool
  8. Then roll in log shape and cover with foil
  9. Keep in fridge for setting
  10. Cut slices and serve
