Ingredients to make Veg Cheese Frankie

  • For rotis:
  • Wheat flour-1 cup
  • Salt-1/2 tsp
  • Oil-1/2 tsp
  • For stuffing:
  • Potatoes-5(boiled)
  • Carrots-1/4 cup
  • Capsicum-1/4 cup
  • Ginger,garlic and green chilli paste-1 tsp
  • Coriander-1 tbsp
  • Salt
  • Turmeric-1/4 tsp
  • Chilli powder-1/4 tsp
  • Frankie masala-1 tsp
  • Other Ingredients:-
  • Chopped onions-1 cup
  • Green chutney-4 tbsp
  • Grated cheese-1 cup
  • Vinegar with greeb chillies-2 tbsp
  • Frankie masala-1 tbsp

How to make Veg Cheese Frankie

  1. Knead a dough with wheat flour,salt ,oil and water.Cover and keep aside.
  2. Now take ingredients for stuffing.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.Add ginger garlic green chilli paste.Saute for 30 seconds.
  4. Add chopped carrot.Saute for a minute.
  5. Add chopped capsicum.Saute for a minute.
  6. Add spices and salt.
  7. Add potatoes and coriander.Mix andmash properly.
  8. The stuffing is ready.Let it cool.
  9. Now roll out thin rotis from the dough and semi cook on a hot pan without oil.We don't want brown spots at this stage.
  10. Make elongated rolls from stuffing and put on oiled tawa.Roast them brownfrom both sides.
  11. Nowto assemble the frankie take a roti.Keep a stuffing roll on it.
  12. Apply chutney,then chopped onions.
  13. Put vinegar with green chillies all over.
  14. Then sprinkle frankie masala and lastly grated cheese.
  15. Roll and wrap in an aluminium foil or tissue and serve to your kids.
My Tip: You can use any vegetables.Can use schezwan chutney for a chinese twist instead of green chutney.
