Ingredients to make Mango Murabba

  • Raw mangoes- 12
  • Sugar - 4kg
  • Ginger juice - 1cup
  • Water - 4cups
  • Cinamon stick - 1piece
  • Cardamon powder - 1tablespoon

How to make Mango Murabba

  1. 1- Peel the mangoes grate & keepit in a strainer so that the water from mangoes will be separated.
  2. 2-Take a big sauce pan or take a big utensil in that put 4cups water,1cup ginger juice, cinamon stick & cardamon powder & 4kg sugar mix it well.
  3. 3- Keep stiring it occasionally on a low to medium flame untill it gets a sticky consistency almost it will requires half & hour.
  4. 4- Than squeeze the grated mangoes with hand remove all the water from it squeeze it properly its a very important step & put it in the sugar syrup.
  5. 5- Mix it nicely & cook it on low flame for about 1 hour stir it in between so that it will not stick or burn & your murabba will get a nice colour too.
  6. 6- After its done switch off the flame & keep it for cooling.
  7. 7- The best option is after its cool cover it with a lid & keep it over night like that only.
  8. 8- The next day you can fill the murabba in the bottle.
  9. 9- It can be make in huge quantity & can be kept for a period of one year or more.
  10. 10- It can serve as a side dish & can be eaten with chapatis & parathas.
My Tip: After six months you can just re-cook the murabba so that it will not get spoil for a year or more.
