Ingredients to make Karaila bharwa

  • Karaila 1 kg
  • Onion 750 gms
  • Ginger 50 gms
  • Garlic 50 gms
  • Salt to taste
  • Cumin masala 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 3 tsp
  • Black pepper powder
  • Turmeric 2 tsp
  • Amchur powder 2 tsp

How to make Karaila bharwa

  1. Peel the karaila , cut them in such a way that you can stuff the masala. and boil them with salt.
  2. After boiling keep aside all the karaila seeds.
  3. Now grind all the karaila seeds in the mixture.
  4. Another side heat the kadahi put oil add cumin now add chopped onions, ginger garlic paste and all the masala like turmeric, salt, cumin powder, coriander powder and fry them n cover the lid.
  5. Place grinded seeds and amchur powder in the masala and mix well now again cover the lid.
  6. When masala is full ready then swtich off the flame. And keep aside for cooling.
  7. Stuff the fried masala paste in the karailas.
  8. Now take a pan and place it on the heat. Add oil and shallow fry the karailas till they cooked.
My Tip: Karailas should be shallow fry... Dnt deep fry the karailas.
