ABOUT Kothu Chappathi RECIPE

This is a full meal. This can be made by left over chappathis. This is very tasty and comforting dish.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 6 to 8 Chappathis
  2. 1 big Onion
  3. 3 cloves Garlic
  4. 3 Green chillies
  5. 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
  6. 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  7. 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  8. 1/4 tsp Fennel seeds powder
  9. 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
  10. 4 to 5 Cashewnuts
  11. Chicken pieces (optional)
  12. Salt as per taste
  13. Coriander leaves
  14. Oil for sauteing

Instructions

  1. Cut the chapattis into small pieces and set aside. Heat oil in a kadai and put the broken cashew nuts.
  2. Add the chopped garlic and saute. Add the sliced onions and saute till transparent. Now add the spice powders.
  3. Once the raw smell of the powders goes away, add the sliced veggies and chicken piecescs (if using) and mix well. Once the veggies are almost cooked add the pieces of chapattis and mix well. Add the coriander leaves. Serve hot.

It came out so well. Use coconut oil. Add Bellpepper and carrots for additional taste.
