Kothu Chappathi

Ingredients to make Kothu Chappathi

  • 6 to 8 Chappathis
  • 1 big Onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 3 Green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp Fennel seeds powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 4 to 5 Cashewnuts
  • Chicken pieces (optional)
  • Salt as per taste
  • Coriander leaves
  • Oil for sauteing

How to make Kothu Chappathi

  1. Cut the chapattis into small pieces and set aside. Heat oil in a kadai and put the broken cashew nuts.
  2. Add the chopped garlic and saute. Add the sliced onions and saute till transparent. Now add the spice powders.
  3. Once the raw smell of the powders goes away, add the sliced veggies and chicken piecescs (if using) and mix well. Once the veggies are almost cooked add the pieces of chapattis and mix well. Add the coriander leaves. Serve hot.
