Blackcurrant & walnuts fudge

Ingredients to make Blackcurrant & walnuts fudge

  • Condensed milk (milkmaid) - 1 tin White chocolate (chopped) - 3 cups
  • Dried black currants - 1 cup
  • Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1/8 th tsp
  • Walnuts (chopped) - handful

How to make Blackcurrant & walnuts fudge

  1. Line a square tin with aluminium foil. I have used a 9 inch one.
  2. Now heat the condensed milk and white chocolate in a heavy bottomed sauce pan, on a medium heat.
  3. Cook on medium to low flame with continuous stirring till the mixture is smooth and leaves the sides . It takes about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Switch off the flame. Now mix the vanilla extract.
  5. Add the chopped Walnuts and dried black currants into the white chocolate mix.
  6. Pour the mixture into the tin lined with the foil.
  7. Cool the mixture and chill it in the fridge for 3 hrs. Demould and cut the fudge into squares. Serve.
