Mango barfi

Ingredients to make Mango barfi

  • 1/2 cup mango pulp
  • 2 cups crumbled mava
  • 1/2 cup sugar or as nedded
  • 5 badam chopped
  • Silver varakh nd kesar for garnish
  • Rose petal for garnish optional

How to make Mango barfi

  1. Combine the mava and sugar in non-stick pan, mix well and cook on a medium for 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  2. Add the mango pulp, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 10 minutes or till the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan completely, while stirring continuously.
  3. Keep aside to cool slightly for 2 minutes and Transfer the mixture into a 150 mm. (6") diameter and 25 mm. (1” )deep greased plate.
  4. Allow it to set for 8 hours Cut into 10 equal squares. Garnish with almond saffron nd silver varakh nd rose petals
My Tip: Plating my own way u can barfi cut into Sequres or diamonds nd served. Alphonzo and kesar to get the best out of it.
