Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Sarson(mustard)- two bunches
  2. Palak(spinach)- one bunch
  3. Soye- one bunch
  4. Methi(fenugreek)- one bunch
  5. Bathua- one bunch
  6. Tomatoes big sized- 2
  7. Desi ghee- 2tbsp
  8. Makki atta for saag..2tbsp
  9. Salt
  10. Onion - 1
  11. Green chilly- 1
  12. Ginger and garlic chopped- 1 tbsp
  13. Makki atta for roti- 2 cups

Instructions

  1. Clean,wash thrice,chop all the greens. Pressurecook with one cup water for 40 minutes after one whisle on slow fire. add 2 tbsp makki atta
  2. Blend to make fine paste. In a pan add 2 tsp butter or ghee.Add chopped garlic and onion.Sauté till onions become translucent. Add chopped tomato to it and cook till butter comes out .Add saag to and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. It is ready to eat.Serve piping hot with makki di roti
  4. Knead makki ka atta into a dough by adding warm water,divide into balls.
  5. Pat each ball into a small round Roti between your palms, or make rotis by patting on a flat surface or on a plastic sheet taking care that the Roti is not too thin.Cook on a hot tawa applying little ghee, roast on both sides.
  6. Serve with sarso ka saag
