Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 15-20 Dates deseeded
  2. 1 cup mix nuts(almonds, cashew nuts,pista)
  3. 1 tspn cardamom powder
  4. 1/4 tspn saffron(kesar)
  5. 1 tbspn clarified butter(ghee)
  6. 1 tspn poppy seeds(khus - khus)
  7. 1/2 tspn watermelon seeds
  8. 1/2 tspn flax seeds
  9. 4 tbspn praline powder
  10. 1/4 cup sugar( for praline powder)
  11. 1/2 cup mix nuts( for praline powder)

Instructions

  1. For praline powder: Heat a pan, add sugar put few drops of water . Keep on stirring till sugar melts; add nuts mix well Remove on a greased board, roll it with a rolling pin like chikki When cools down, powder coarsely
  2. Method: Slit dates; deseed it & keep aside
  3. In a pan add ghee, fry nuts till crispy, remove & keep it aside.
  4. In other pan melt glucose, add nuts, watermelon seeds, flax seeds, saffron, cardamom powder, poppy seeds,add 1 tbspn praline powder.
  5. Remove from gas & make small balls while the mixture is still warm
  6. Let the balls cool down
  7. Fill the dates with this balls
  8. Roll top with praline powder
  9. Store it in airtight container.
