Ingredients to make Wholesome moong pancakes

  • 1 cup soaked whole moong
  • 1 medium sized chopped onion
  • 6-7 cloves garlic
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp Cumin Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
  • salt as per taste
  • A pinch of asafoetida
  • Oil for making pancakes
  • Water to make the batter smooth

How to make Wholesome moong pancakes

  1. Soak whole green moong overnight
  2. Grind the soaked moong,onion,garlic,coriander leaves and green chilli to make a smooth paste. Add water as required.
  3. Mix all the dry spices and salt.
  4. Take a pan and brush oil on it.
  5. With the help of a laddle, spread the batter and cook well.
  6. Serve hot with desired chutney to the kids.
My Tip: While grinding the pancake batter, add the water which was used to soak the moong overnight.
