Healthy kababs made from raw bananas

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Raw bananas 5nos.
  2. Potatoes 3-4 medium size
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Besan 3 tbsp
  5. Ginger garlic onion paste
  6. Coriander powder 1tsp, turmeric powder 1/2tsp, red chilli powder 1/2tsp, garam masala 1/2tsp
  7. Onions finely chopped 3tbsp, green chillies finely chopped 2-3
  8. Lemon juice 3tbsp

Instructions

  1. Boil raw banana and potatoes together in a pressure cooker for 5-6 whistles.
  2. In a deep pan, add 11/2 TSP oil and add ginger garlic onion paste. Cook till the raw smell goes.
  3. Now add to it all the dry masalas with little water and cook untill the oil leaves.
  4. Put it in a deep bowl and in d same pan add the besan and let it cook. Keep stirring it continually, to avoid burning.
  5. Once done, add it to the same bowl as the masalas.
  6. Now open the cooker, n peel off the boiled potatoes and bananas.
  7. Mash them properly and put them in same bowl, and mix all of them very thoroughly.
  8. Now add salt according to taste, onions, green chillies and lemon juice.
  9. Mix thoroughly and the kebab mix is ready.
  10. Now, keep a non stick pan on gas and add mustard oil on to it.
  11. Make small balls of the mixture, press them a little and shallow fry them, untill they become reddish from both the sides.
  12. Kebabs are ready, serve them hot either with green chutney, as breakfast or with paratha and salad as dinner.
