Ingredients to make Suji khichri rolls

  • 1 cup leftover moong dal khichdi
  • 1 medium sized chopped onion
  • 1 small orange bell pepper chopped
  • 1 small green capsicum chopped
  • 1 tsp Grated ginger
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • spices
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 cup semolina for coating
  • Oil for shallow fry. I used rice bran oil

How to make Suji khichri rolls

  1. First collect all ingredients
  2. In a bowl add leftover khichdi add onions, capsicum
  3. Add bell peppers and all spices, ginger chilly paste
  4. Mix all ingredients well and make rolls out of it
  5. Coat it with semolina
  6. Heat non stick pan.. add oil add all khichdi rolls
  7. Shallow fry these rolls on medium flame.
  8. Fry it till golden brown in colour from all sides.
  9. Serve hot with your favourite sauce or ketchup.

My Tip:

You can add more veggies to make it healthier.
