Mushroom-capsicum daliya khichdi

Ingredients to make Mushroom-capsicum daliya khichdi

  • daliya 1 cup
  • Moong Ki dal 1/2 cup
  • 1 tsp oil
  • salt to taste
  • Sauteed mushrooms
  • Veggies of ur choice
  • Chopped tomato
  • black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • cumin powder 1 tsp
  • For tempering : 1 tsp oil
  • cumin, hing & minced garlic

How to make Mushroom-capsicum daliya khichdi

  1. Wash Dalia & Moong dal in a bowl.
  2. Take a pressure cooker put 1 tsp oil add daliya, Moong dal, salt, turmeric powder & all spices in it and stir for 2-3 mins.
  3. Now add sauteed veggies like beans, capsicum, carrot sauteed mushrooms & tomatoes.
  4. Put 3 cups of water and take 2 whistles one in high flame and the another is in low.
  5. For tempering : add oil in a pan put hing, cumin seeds & minced garlic if you want add Saboot red chillies.

My Tip:

Garnish with chopped Coriander & serve with a dollop of ghee.
