ABOUT Aam Chhunda RECIPE

This is one of the best recipe which can be done with raw mangoes. You can eat this with puri, Paratha and even spread it on bread toast. Specially kids love this a lot. The sweet and tangy taste of this Chhunda make you fall in love with this. So do try this yummilicious recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Raw Mangoes / Totapuri Mangoes 1 kg
  2. Sugar 500 gm or more as per taste
  3. Cardamom 8 (coarsely grinded)
  4. Raisins 2-3 tblspn
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Red chilly powder 1 tsp
  7. Roasted Cumin 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Wash mangoes and dry with a cloth.
  2. Peel the mangoes and grate.
  3. In a heavy bottom pan add grated mango, salt and sugar.
  4. Cook till it combines and sugar comes to 2 thread consistency.
  5. Add raisins and mix well.
  6. Add red chilly powder, cardamom powder and roasted cumin.
  7. Mix well and let it cool completely.
  8. Store this chhunda in glass jar. You can store it for very long time.
  9. Serve with roti, paratha, toast etc.
