ABOUT Chilli pickle with split mustard seeds RECIPE

My family loves this pickle that is made with chillies, this can be served as an accompaniment with just some parathas on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Finely chopped green chiilis 250 grams
  2. Split mustard seeds 100 grams
  3. Hing [asafoetida]1 / 2 table sppon
  4. Oil 2 table spoons
  5. Haldi powder [turmeric powder] pinch of
  6. Lemon juice 1 tea spoon
  7. salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. First take chillies and add salt. And haldi powder. Rest it for over night. Next day strain water and mixed it well. Chillies mixture is ready.
  2. Now take one pan and add split mustard seeds and hing in to it.
  3. Heat oil in Small pan. As steam came out from oil add oil in to above muster seeds pan. Muster seeds mixture is ready .
  4. Rest it for 2 hours.
  5. Now take that chillies mixture add it on to muster seeds mixture.
  6. Mixed it well. By using lemon juice.
  7. Pickle is ready to be served.

Instructions don't make sense. No. 1 says take chillies and add haldi & salt and let it rest overnight. Next day strain water, What water??? chillies mixture is ready, ?????
