ABOUT CHOCOLATE MANGO CAKE TOPPED WITH MANGOES AND FRESHLY WHIPPED CREAM RECIPE

An unusually simple cake which can make you an instant celebrity and people might coax you to even open your bakery.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 200 grams all purpose flour
  2. 50 grams good quality cocoa powder
  3. 50 grams custard powder
  4. 2 Eggs
  5. 1/2 cup Mango Puree
  6. 150 grams powdered sugar
  7. 2 tsp baking powder
  8. 1 tsp baking soda
  9. 1 tbsp vanila essence
  10. 1 tea cup oil/butter in room temperature
  11. 1/2 tea cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven at 180 degree centigrade for 12 minutes.
  2. Sieve all purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda , custard powder and coco powder separately and mix everything together. Our dry mixture is ready.
  3. Next beat butter/oil and eggs together. Add milk and vanila essence to it.
  4. Slowly put 1 tbsp of the mixture and mix into the wet mixture.
  5. Repeat the process till you fold in all the dry mixture into the wet mixture.
  6. Beat the whole batter for 7 to 8 minutes using electric beater or using a hand blender. Using a hand blender will take longer time.
  7. Grease a baking tray and pour the batter into it.
  8. Let the batter rest for a minute to remove any bubbles. Tap from sides if any.
  9. Bake the cake for 40 minutes or till done.
  10. Do a knife test to see that the cake is baked well.
  11. Let the cake cool down completely before you demould it.
