Hummus

Ingredients to make Hummus

  • Soaked chickpea -1 cup
  • garlic-2cloves
  • Lemon-1
  • Sesame seeds -2 tbsp
  • Olive oil-1 cup
  • Chilli flakes-1 tbsp
  • Dry parsley -1tbsp
  • Black pepper powder -1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

How to make Hummus

  1. Soak the chickpea overnight.
  2. Wrap the chickpea in a muslin cloth and rub it in your palm.open the cloth and discard the skin of the chickpea
  3. For Tahini paste dry roast sesame seeds.Let it be cool add 2 tbsp olive oil and grind to a smooth paste. Add more oil if necessary.
  4. In a grinder jar put the chickpea add 2 tbsp Tahini, garlic, chilliflakes,dry parsley , juice of 1 lemon, salt, pepperand 1/2 cup olive oil.Grind to a smooth paste.Add more oil if necessary.
  5. Transfer to a bowl Garnish with olive oil ,parsley and chilliflakes.
