ABOUT Shahi Paneer restaurant style RECIPE

Shahi Paneer is a preparation of Paneer in a thick gravy made up of cream dry fruits and spices from the Indian subcontinent. If you are throwing a party in your home, do add this dish to your menu. It will please your guests.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Paneer 250 gms
  2. 1 inch ginger
  3. 2 green chillies
  4. 7-8 Kaju [cashew nuts]
  5. 7-8 Kismish [raisins]
  6. 5-6 almonds
  7. 1 tbsp posto seeds
  8. 2 green cardamom
  9. 1 black cardamom
  10. 1 inch cinnamon
  11. 1 BAY LEAVES
  12. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  13. 1 tbsp coriander powder
  14. 1/4 turmeric powder
  15. 1/2 tsp kashmiri mirch powder
  16. 1/2 garam masala
  17. 1 tbsp kasoori methi
  18. 1/4 cup Milk
  19. 2 tbsp Fresh Cream
  20. 1 cube grated cheese
  21. 1 tsp sugar
  22. Salt to taste
  23. 1 tbsp ghee
  24. Coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Take Kaju, Kismish, almonds, posto seeds, black cardamom green cardamom, cloves in a mixer grinder and grind them well.
  2. Cut the Paneer into desired pieces.
  3. Heat the ghee in a pan fry them in ghee for 3-4 mins.
  4. Now turn off the flame and set aside in a bowl add water and salt in it.
  5. Heat the pan put oil, cumin seeds cloves and green & black cardamom.
  6. Put the grinded masala in a pan.
  7. And let them cook.
  8. Now add turmeric powder, salt, coriander powder and Garam masala powder, black pepper powder in the pan.
  9. Stir them & cook until the oil seperated.
  10. Now add milk cream & sugar in it.
  11. Fry them untill they mix well. Add Paneer in the mixture.
  12. And combine well. Put some grated cheese and simmer. Add kasuri methi also
  13. Serve hot with the paratha/ rumali roti/ tandoori roti or naan.
