About Fish Tikka Recipe

A light and easy fish preparation that tastes best with fresh fish

Fish Tikka

Ingredients to make Fish Tikka

  • 1 kg bhetki fish or surmai
  • 1tbsp lime juice
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 3 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1.5 tsp cumin powder
  • black salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp powdered nutmeg
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1/2tsp mace powder
  • 1.5 tsp powdered fenugreek leaves

How to make Fish Tikka

  1. 1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together and marinade for 2 hours or overnight.
  2. 2. Pierce the fish steaks on a skewer and turn over a fire or under grill for 10 mins, cooking both the sides.

My Tip:

Add a dash of cream in the marination for a bit of richness
