Mango puree - Poori Ladoos

Ingredients to make Mango puree - Poori Ladoos

  • Wheat flour 1 cup
  • Salt a pinch
  • Mango puree 4 spoons or more or less
  • Clarified butter 2 spoons to form ladoos
  • Sugar to your taste (depends upon sweetness of mango)
  • Saffron strands 4
  • Cashews, pistachios and almonds 4 tsp
  • Clarified butter to deep fry poories

How to make Mango puree - Poori Ladoos

  1. Prepare a firm dough for poories with wheat flour, pinch of salt and mango puree.
  2. Set aside for 20 minutes.
  3. Make small balls.
  4. Roll out the poories in round shape and deep fry in hot clarified butter/desi ghee
  5. Cool the poories,
  6. Break them in small pieces and grind them along with some strands of saffron, powdered sugar and mix dry fruits
  7. Remove in a bowl.
  8. Add some lukewarm clarified butter /desi ghee in this and mix well
  9. Shape them as laddoos and enjoy!!
My Tip: Use clarified butter/ dedi ghee to make ladoos.
