ABOUT Daliya chilla roll stuffed with beetroot RECIPE

It is very tasty & healthy recipe. You can have this for lunch as well, Serve with mint chutney and cucumber salad.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Daliya 1 cup
  2. Gram flour (besan) 2 tbsp
  3. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  4. Red chilli powder
  5. Beetroot 1
  6. Onion 1
  7. Green chillies 3-4
  8. Salt to taste
  9. oil to spread

Instructions

  1. Take 1 cup daliya in a mixer grinder and grind them.
  2. Now soak grinded daliya in half cup water for few minutes so that they can absorb moisture.
  3. Cut the onions & green chillies...
  4. Grate beetroot and keep aside.
  5. Add besan, turmeric powder, red Chilli powder, salt & water in it and make a batter like chilla neither thick nor thin.
  6. Heat tawa spread some oil put batter in tawa and make chilla.
  7. After a minute Sprinkle some onion and grated beetroot and squeeze with lemon juice & then make a roll.
  8. Enjoy your healthy and tasty chilla roll with mint chutney with cucumber salad.
