Palak kofta curry

Ingredients to make Palak kofta curry

  • Palak puree - 1 medium bowl (boiled with 1/2 tsp ginger diced, 5-6 garlic cloves, 1 -2 green chillies,.1/2 tsp salt and 1 tbsp oil or ghee)
  • 2 medium sized onions (roughly chopped), chopped garlic 5-6 cloves, 2 tomatoes blanch and skin off
  • Milk 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp each coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, 1/2 tsp amchur powder, salt to taste.
  • For kofta : 2 boiled potatoes, 2 slice bread, 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped green chilly, coriander leaves, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp dry mango powder, salt to taste, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder,

How to make Palak kofta curry

  1. Boil palak with ginger ,garlic, green chillies, salt and oil . Puree it.
  2. Add oil heat it put garlic, saute until brown and now turn to add onions saute until light brown. Grind it with blanched tomatoes.
  3. In same kadhai or pan add this paste now turn to add dry ingredients together. Saute until oil leaves sides.
  4. Put it in palak puree and add 1 cup milk and 1/2 cup of water. Saute it atleast for 10-12 mints.
  5. For koftas : mix all ingredients in a bowl only u have to put bread slice in water and squeeze it. Make same balls and fry it till golden brown.
  6. Now finally add palak puree in bowl and put balls in. Garnish with grated paneer, ghee or butter
My Tip: I add milk while puree palak.
