Chhana ( paneer) stuffed mango rolls

Ingredients to make Chhana ( paneer) stuffed mango rolls

  • For mango sheets
  • Mango pulp - 2 cups
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • For mango rolls
  • Thin mango sheets - 10 nos
  • Cottage cheese - 1 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Milk Powder - 1/4 cup
  • Ghee - 1 tsp
  • Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Mango essence - 5 drops
  • Silver varak

How to make Chhana ( paneer) stuffed mango rolls

  1. Heat mango pulp with sugar and continueslly stirring to till it becomes medium thick and switch off the gas.
  2. Take a tray and brush very little oil.
  3. Pour cooked mango pulp and spread on the tray. ( it must be 1/4 inch layer. After dry it becomes thin layer)
  4. Keep under the fan or dry place. It will take 24 hours to dry. ( in Hyderabad)
  5. After dried , take a sharp knife and cutting the edges.
  6. Mango sheet will come out from the tray automatically .
  7. Mango rolls
  8. Mix the cottage cheese ( paneer) with milk powder to smooth paste.
  9. Add sugar and mix well
  10. Take a pan and add 1 tsp ghee . Add cottage cheese mixture and cook in low flame till mixture separated from the side of the pan.
  11. Add essence and cardamom powder. Keep aside for cool.
  12. Take a appropriate mango sheet and put little amount of cottage cheese mixture on the one side and tightly roll it.
  13. Make all the rolls in this way and roll on silver varak.
  14. Mango rolls are ready
