Ingredients to make cabbage ke gatte

  • For making gattas
  • cabbabe one small bowl grated
  • besan 6 tbsp
  • mirchi powder 2tbsp
  • Haldi powder 1 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • For making gravy
  • one small onion cut into small pieces
  • Haldi powder 1/2 tsp
  • mirchi powder 2tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1tbsp
  • salt as per taste
  • Jeera 1tsp
  • Hing a pinch
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing

How to make cabbage ke gatte

  1. mix all the ingredients of gattas as mentioned above to make a smooth dough. add water when required.
  2. Then make cylindrical shape of the gattas.
  3. Heat water in a pan and add little salt and oil to it and wait till water gets boil.
  4. after tht add gattas to it and wait till gattas start floating on the top.
  5. when gattas start floating on the top it is almost done and take out frm the water.
  6. allow it to cool and cut into small pieces
  7. do not throw away the stock of gattas.
  8. after tht add all the ingredients to the curd as mentioned below except onions.
  9. heat oil in a pan add jeera and hing and saute onions to it
  10. after tht add curd gravy to it and mix it continuously....
  11. when oil starts separating frm the gravy u can add gattas and the remaining stock..
  12. stir till when the boil comes.. garnish with coriander leaves....
My Tip: if u want u can add any vegetables to it...
