Aloo ki kadhi

Ingredients to make Aloo ki kadhi

  • 2 medium size potato
  • 2 big tbsp yogurt
  • Mustard oil
  • 2 tbsp Besan
  • 1 tbsp fenugreek seed
  • 1/2 cumin
  • Red chilly powder
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala
  • Garlic paste1 tbsp
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 green chilly paste
  • Salt
  • Turmeric
  • green coriander

How to make Aloo ki kadhi

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into medium size pieces
  2. Crushed the potato with the pastel.. just flatten the potato piece
  3. In a pan heat oil. Add fenugreek seed. heeng and cumin. Let them crackle.
  4. Add whole red chilly
  5. Add chopped onion. Fry it.
  6. Add garlic paste
  7. Simmer for 2 minute
  8. In a bowl mix water.. yogurt and besan.
  9. Add the besan mixture in the pan. And add around 1 glass of water.
  10. Add the Crushed potatoes.
  11. Add the garam masala.
  12. Add the salt.
  13. Cover the pan for 5 min.
  14. Check the potatoes. if it is cooked. Switch off the flame.
  15. Garnish the recipe with coriander.
  16. Serve with jeera rice or plain rice.
