Ingredients to make Mango kesar peda

  • Fresh mango puree 3/4 cup
  • Milk maid 1 bowl
  • Milk powder 3/4 cup
  • Coconut grated 50 gm
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tspn
  • Almonds 8 to 10
  • Pistachios 1 spoon chopped
  • Saffron strands 1 pinch
  • Ghee 3 to 4 spoon

How to make Mango kesar peda

  1. Arrange all Ingredients .
  2. First heat 2 spoon ghee in a heavy bottom wolk in a low flame .
  3. Add milkmaid and milk powder in it .And mix well until combined
  4. Stir continuously until it reach a dough consistency.
  5. Turn off the flame.
  6. Now take a onther pan add 2 spoon ghee .Add mango puree to the pan and continue to cook by stirring continuously.
  7. When puree become thick add it in milkmaid and milk powder mixture.
  8. Add cardamom and saffron strands to the pan.
  9. Continue to mix well by breaking any lumps that may have formed.
  10. All the ingredients would melt combine together into a mixture.
  11. Cool until when mixture become thicker.
  12. Turn off the flame and transfer the mixture into a plate.
  13. Leave it cool down.
  14. While the mixture is still warm add grated coconut in it mix well with your hands.
  15. Now grees your hand with ghee take a small portion of mixture and make it into a ball.
  16. Flatten it gently in the form of a disc and then place a whole almond in the center.
  17. Cover up the almond with the mixture and shape it desired shape.
  18. Use sliced pistachios n saffron strands for garnish. Enjoy yummy yummy mango kesar peda.

My Tip:

Use a heavy botton wolk or a non stick pan when you making peda .keep strring continuously.
