Soya Tikka Masala

Ingredients to make Soya Tikka Masala

  • Soyabean chunks-1 cup
  • Thick curd-1/2cup
  • red chilly powder-2tsp
  • coriander powder-2tsp
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric powder- 1tsp
  • Garam masala powder -2 n 1/2tsp
  • Cubed onion -1/2cup
  • Cubed capsicum -1/2 cup
  • Chopped onion -1 /2 cup
  • ginger garlic paste -3tsp
  • tomato -2
  • cashew nuts-5
  • Cinamon stick-1/2"
  • cardamom-1
  • clove-2
  • butter-2tbsp
  • oil-4tbsp
  • Kasoori methi-1 1/2tsp
  • Sacilic stick-2( for garnishing)

How to make Soya Tikka Masala

  1. Boil water in a pan add soya chunks,switch off gas keep the chunks in boiling water for 15 minutes.
  2. Strain it.Add curd ,salt to taste. Add turmeric-1/2 tsp, coriander powder-1tsp, red chilly powder-1 tsp,garam masala powder -1tsp,ginger garlic paste-1tsp.Mix well.keep it in the fridge for 2 hour.
  3. Bring out add cubed onion and capsicum.
  4. Heat a tawa. Fry these soya chunks onion and capsicum by adding some oil in low medium heat till light golden.
  5. For the gravy heat a pan add 1 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp butter.Add cinnamon, cradamom, cloves after 1 minute add ginger garlic paste fry for 2 minutes add chopped onion fry for 2 minutes add tomatoes salt turmeric -1/2tsp ,coriander powder -1 tsp,red chilly powder-1tsp,garam masala powder-1tsp,and cashew nuts.Fry in low medium heat for 5 minutes. Switch off Let it be cool.Grind to a fine paste.
  6. Heat 1 tbsp butter add kasoori methi and ground masala. .Add 1/2 cup water bring to boil.Add fried capsicum onion and soya chunks.keep in simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
  7. Add 1tsp garam masala and 1/2 tsp crushed kasoori methi.Mix well.switch off .Serve hot.Garnish the dish by arranging some soya chunks and capsicum in two sacilic sticks.
