Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Raw mango...1
  2. Chopped Carrot leaves...1& 1/2 cups
  3. Onion....1 cup
  4. Ginger garlic paste...1 spoon
  5. Turd dall....1/4 cup
  6. Moong dall....1/4 cup
  7. Salt...
  8. Coconut oil...2 spoons
  9. Ghee...2 spoons
  10. Turmeric powder....2/4 spoon
  11. Chilly powder......1/4 spoon
  12. Green chilly...4
  13. Garam masala....1 spoon
  14. Jeera.....1/2 spoon
  15. Asafoetida.....3 pinch
  16. Red chilly....2
  17. Mustard......1/2 spoon

Instructions

  1. Take turd dal and moong dal in a cooker with water and heat it until 3 whistles.
  2. Now separately cook mango pieces,salt,turmeric powder,chilly powder with water together and cook it.
  3. Prepare tempering in a kadai using coconut oil,ghee,mustard,jeera,red chilly,curry leaves and asafoetida.
  4. Add onion,green chilly and ginger garlic paste to the temper one by one and fry them.
  5. Add chopped carrot leaves to it and fry them.
  6. Now add cooked mango and dal into it.
  7. Add required amount of salt and if required water to it and boil it.
  8. sprinkle coriander leaves and garam masala to it and mix them well.Off the flame.
  9. Dall is ready to serve with phulka or chapathi.
  10. Fenugreek leaves can be used instead of carrot leaves.
