Its a tangy spicy cutlet which you can serve as a tasty as well as heathy snacks because its baked.Here I have used concept of bengali popular snacks "amer chop".

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Raw mango paste-1 medium size
  2. Onion chopped-1 medium size
  3. Boiled potato mashed-1 large size
  4. Grated ginger-1 tablespoon
  5. Green chilli paste-1 teaspoon
  6. Turmeric powder-1 teaspoon
  7. Red chilli powder-1 teaspoon
  8. Cumin powder-1 teaspoon
  9. Coriander powder-1/2 teaspoon
  10. Garam masala powder-1 teaspoon
  11. Chat masala powder-1 teaspoon
  12. Black pepper powder-1 teaspoon
  13. Roasted cumin powder-1/2 teaspoon
  14. Sugar-1 tablespoon
  15. Salt to taste
  16. Oil-7 teaspoon
  17. Cornflour-3 tablespoon
  18. Breadcrumb for coating
  19. Whole red chilli-2
  20. Whole cumin seeds-1 teaspoon
  21. Whole panch phoron(Bengali 5 spice mix)-1.5 teaspoon
  22. For garnishing,
  23. Green chatni-1 teaspoon
  24. Mustard sauce-1 teaspoon
  25. Tomato ketchup-1 teaspoon
  26. Coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Add 3 teaspoon oil in a non-stick pan.Allow it to heat.
  2. Add chopped onion in it and saute it until it become little golden.
  3. Add ginger in it.
  4. Add salt to taste.
  5. Add potato mash. Mix it well.
  6. Add all dry powder masala and sugar except garam masala powder and roasted cumin powder.Mix it well.
  7. Allow it to cook until it form like a dough.
  8. Then make a space in pan in which you can add oil and whole spices for tempering.
  9. Heat 2 teaspoon oil and add whole masala in that.Allow it to crackle.
  10. Then add garam masala powder and roasted cumin powder in it.Mix everything well.
  11. Switch off the flame and allow it to cool at room temperature.
  12. Mix the cornflour with little water to make a batter.
  13. Divide the masala dough into 6 equal parts.
  14. Give them a shape using cookie cutter or your hand.
  15. Dip it into the cornflour mixture and then coat with breadcrumb. Do it two times for each cutlet.
  16. Brush the rest of the oil both side.Bake it 15 minutes at 200°C in a preheated oven.
  17. After that turn each and every cutlets and brush little oil and bake it 15 minutes again at 200°c.
  18. Serve it hot with green chatni,tomato ketchup and mustard sauce.
