Fried Moong Sprouts

Ingredients to make Fried Moong Sprouts

  • 1 Bowl moong dal sprouts
  • Chopped/ sliced Onion
  • grated ginger
  • Chopped green chillies
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • Turmeric powder 1tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Oil to stir fry
  • Cumin seeds
  • Lemon juice

How to make Fried Moong Sprouts

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds & allow it to splutter .
  2. Then add green chillies, ginger, onions and fry for few minutes.
  3. Now add salt, turmeric powder, black pepper powder & fry for few seconds.
  4. Next add the moong sprouts and mix well.
  5. Cover and cook for few minutes.
  6. Open the lid and stir fry the moongs in full flame.
  7. Sprinkle Coriander leaves & lemon juice in last.
  8. Serve hot as a snack.
My Tip: Sprouted moong stay fresh for 1-2 days in refrigerator. It is good to consume them fresh.
