Ingredients to make Moong daal halwa

  • 1 bowl soaked moong dal
  • 1 bowl ghee
  • 3/4 bowl sugar
  • 1/2teaspoon cardamon powder
  • 2 tabs besan
  • 250ml milk
  • Almonds and raisins and kaju for taste
  • 1/2bowl khoya optional

How to make Moong daal halwa

  1. 1.Soaked moong dal in hot water for two hours.
  2. 2.Rinse all the water and grind it.
  3. 3.After one min add dal and start to cook it. I 4.Add more ghee if mixture is hard. Try to cook on medium flame .
  4. 5.After 20min its colour start changed. If you have to check that it will roasted properly or not you can put some drop of water in it.
  5. 6.Roast the daal mixture till the almond brown colour come.
  6. 7.Add sugar milk and khoya and mix it well.
  7. 8.Add more ghee if needed.
  8. 9.Put some almonds and raisins and mix well.
  9. 10.Served hot
