ABOUT TANDOORI PRAWNS RECIPE

Since, the prawns were special, I decided to barbeque them in tandoor instead of regular frying or putting them in curry. It was an extremely simple recipe which made for a perfect Sunday Starter during lunch. Since, the size of prawns were too large, we had to skip the main meal.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Tiger Jumbo Prawns ( 4 to 6 pieces)
  2. Hung Curd 4 tbsp
  3. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  4. Freshly crushed ground pepper
  5. 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  6. 1 tbsp tandoori powder
  7. Juice of 1 lemon
  8. 1 tbsp freshly crushed ginger garlic paste
  9. 1 tsp mint leaves chopped finely
  10. 1 tsp green chili paste
  11. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate prawns in the above ingredients
  2. Keep it aside for 30 minutes
  3. Heat your microwave in grill mode for
  4. Grill your prawns for 10 minutes on each side.
