Vegetable momo

Ingredients to make Vegetable momo

  • flour 1 cup
  • salt
  • oil 1 spoon
  • spring onions [chopped ] - 4 tbsp
  • Grated carrots - 4 tbsp
  • Bell peppers [finely chopped] - 2 tbsp
  • Chopped garlic and ginger - 1 tsp
  • Chopped green chillies - 1
  • soy sauce - 1 tsp

How to make Vegetable momo

  1. Knead a hard dough with maida flour, salt, oil and water. Leave this to rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Now mix rest of the ingredients together to form the stuffing.
  3. Now divide the dough into equal roundels and roll them into tiny puris, stuff each puri with the veggie filling and crimp the ends to form the shape.
  4. Steam them in a bamboo steamer or idly steamer for 20 minutes. serve.
